Information Technology (IT) and Digital marketing consultant

This position requires a person with creative problem-solving - , people-person - , and strong analytical skills.

Roles and responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for creating, promoting, and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan for effective information and knowledge sharing.
  2. Draft and present business plans to exco on the online marketing, sales and IT infrastructure of the Company.
  3. Manage web sites on Social Network pages (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.)
  4. Maintain, setup and develop web sites, Intranet, and product resource Information portals(including day-to-day maintenance). 
  5. Assist in the maintenance and evaluation of web-based applications by serving as a liaison between the business and IT.
  6. Assist in the design and maintenance of Staff and Customer facing web site(s) for optimal usability and improvement.
  7. Coordinates the collection of relevant information for central repositories and end user presentation
  8. Assist in monitoring and identifying new technologies that will benefit Information Sharing.
  9. Responsible for client and partner acquisition and retention.
  10. Initiate, track, evaluate and report to exco on marketing initiatives and sales.
  11. Research online channels to identify target media and platforms for effective campaign delivery.
  12. Assist and manage the IT environment within the Company which includes but is not limited to:
    • Networking
      1. Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure.
      2. Implement and maintain network security at all levels.
      3. Review, design, implement and maintenance of the company's infrastructure when necessary.
      4. Perform the administration of the company's LAN and WAN.
      Telephony
      1. Manages and develops upgrades to the company's telephone system.
      2. Oversees all telephone changes, including routing for seating assignments.
      Training & Lab Maintenance
      1. Oversees the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for company training program and provides additional support if necessary.
      Internal Systems
      1. Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
      2. Works with project teams to help implement Internal Systems.
      Help Desk Administration
      1. Oversees all help desk activities at all levels.
      2. Responds to escalated help desk issues.
      3. Design, implement, administer and maintain tracking software.
      4. Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
      Asset Management
      1. Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
      2. Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at all levels.
      3. Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.

Qualifications and experience required:

  1. Information Technology Diploma or relevant qualification.
  2. 2 or more years: IT or similar experience.
  3. Knowledge Management know-how: ege Building Communities  of Best Practices.
  4. Software development experience: ASP.net, PHP,  or basic Html.
  5. Nice to have: Java script -, VB script and other web technology related software    experience.
